I was looking for a yoga mat made out of recycled or eco-friendly materials – but I was surprised that it was very difficult to find one. When I came across this one on the JURU site, I decided to try it — and I am AMAZED! The quality, texture, durability, aesthetic — they have preserved every aspect of the best-quality cork yoga mats of the past, in a new & necessary recycled version. Far surpasses the cheap ones made today. I highly recommend this mat — for your sake and the sake of the planet!!

The mat is pretty good when it comes to being anti slip. I am still trying to figure out how to get rid of the rubber smell from it though. It’s pretty strong and make is difficult to focus on the asana .

Great addition to my juru yoga mat collection! I love the look of the recycled cork and it is at least equal quality to the regular cork mat, which I was already using for a few years now.
